Lucky man rescued from the clutches of death (5 Photos)

Firemen saved the life of a partially paralyzed man in Racine, Wisconsin. After the fire broke out on Tuesday, Pete Lui was only able to make it out to his porch before becoming trapped from the flames raging inside. Initially friends and neighbors offered their support by lending Pete a ladder, however, due to his weakened condition he refused to climb down, afraid that he would only hurt himself and others. Thankfully, firemen got to Pete in the nick of time and were able to safely carry him down the ladder. Lui may have lost his house but at least he left with his life intact.
