    Scientists don't know exactly what gives the Blue Pond its incredible aquamarine color, but one of the possible explanations is that aluminum rich water from the river nearby creates a colloid – a solution of dispersed microscopic particles – that reflects sunlight in a peculiar way. Either way, it's a spectacular natural phenomenon.
